This video shows step by step directions for building a gothic shaped or bowed roof greenhouse with laminated wood like the UM passive solar greenhouse that we reported on the other day. This model supposedly meets Florida’s 160 mph wind code, and can easily be built by most do-it-yourselfers.
I would like to build a 12 x 16 gothic arch green house with a height of about 10 ft,,,do you know where I can get plans for about those dimensions. Close is fine. Thank you for this video.
You can go to https://www.shamrockaquaponicfarm.com/ to buy (for $28) several plan sizes. The smallest is 16 X 28, but you could probably scale this for the size you want.
Where can you get the plans for the gothic arch greenhouse??
You can find these plans available at http://shamrockaquaponicfarm.com/store/
Wow!Loved the video. Would love to know moreabout the jig design as I’m looking to make one at 20 to 22 foot wide for plant production Please keep me posted.
Hello
This looks fabulous. I was interested in your building arches for our project in brooklyn, New York. we’re looking to put a “floating”roof made of rounded wooded arches covered with Solexx plastic over the backyard at my son’s new restaurant. he has an 8 ft high fence surrounding what is a 17 x around 18 foot backyard. We only need the arched roof which can extend above the fence or otherwise be attached (later details) so the arches don’t need to go to the floor. Can we discuss and is that something you might be able to do? thank you
look forward to hearing from you.

Sure, this should work. It sounds like you need to talk to a local builder and/or architect to work out the details.
The low cost alternative building methods we report on can also be used to build other structures.
