Note how each step is written. There’s a title for each step, a bulleted summary and then a concise description. There’s usually a photo and/or drawing for each main step (a picture is worth a thousand words) and links to my YouTube videos. I believe this interactive process — reading, looking at detailed photos and drawings, and watching short demonstration video clips — is the best way to present the information.
A quick word about what my new earthbag book is NOT. In my opinion it’s far more important to explain the most important building steps instead of going on and on about the history, benefits, choosing a building site, and so on. All this sort of fluff (related but less important, general content that can be found elsewhere) has been kept to an absolute minimum. It’s a 100% builder’s guide.
Looks very good, very wanna try, hope to have a chance.
