I saw this on Facebook where someone said stabilizers aren’t necessary. That is usually the case. Compacted subsoil in earthbags covered with plaster is the norm. But there may be situations where stabilizers are beneficial such as in extremely wet areas. There’s even the possibility of making an earthbag stone wall without plaster using this type of construction. There’s also the option of spraying it on walls to create stone PISE. Let us know if you try this out.
“Bionic Soil Solutions International (BSSI) is the manufacturer and exclusive worldwide distributor of a revolutionary soil technology called “Lithification.” (The process in which soil is transformed into rock). This paradigm shifting technology can be used in the construction and maintenance of dirt roads and subgrade, earth blocks and earth liners.
Bionic Soil Solutions is an eco-friendly, long lasting, and sustainable product in stabilizing soils.
Lithification: a complex process involving naturally occurring chemicals, minerals, moisture, pressure and cementation, where soil gradually becomes solid rock over thousands of years.
“Bionic Soil Solution’s, environmentally friendly, Lithification Technology may be the most significant breakthrough in the history of Soil Science.”
These products greatly outperform “soil stabilization” products as they effectively transform the soil into a rock-hard, water repellent surface. The product can be used on native or insitu soil compositions, to greatly reduce the cost of importing and hauling in expensive road base materials.
We produce solutions for the surfaces of dirt roads and for the sub-grades and bases below asphalt that:
– Utilize the native or on-site soil or road base and aggregate mixtures
– Are significantly less expensive than other methods and materials in upfront and long-term costs
– Last much longer requiring only preventative maintenance
– Are green, eco friendly naturally occurring chemicals, found in the earth’s crust.
Bionic Soil Solutions “Lithification Technology” duplicates the way Mother Earth turns soil into rock, in one day rather than millions of years.”
