Here’s a Pinterest site showing the natural beauty of live edge woodwork on furniture and countertops. Rustic woodwork can slash costs and create a warmer, more beautiful home environment. It’s perfect for owner-builders.

That’s an excellent suggestion. There’s a lot of logging where I’ll be building.
This is line with what I wish to do at my home build. My plan is to use the timbers there to create shelving, tables, chairs etc. while clearing “some” trees to help the surrounding trees. Basically it’s to use a little and help a lot. Very impressive woodworking. Thanks for the post.
Be sure to check out nearby logging operations. Logging crews take the straightest sections and leave behind mountains of useful materials. Chainsaws are really handy.
This same ‘waste’ wood can be used for stairway handrails, balcony railings, door handles, furniture, etc. etc. Previous blog posts have profiled numerous examples of this such as the Pembrokeshire home. https://naturalbuildingblog.siterubix.com/eco-hobbit-home-in-pembrokeshire-faces-demolition/
and then there is Tucker Robbins. An artist who markets his natural products to the ruling elite on the planet. If you don’t believe Pepe the Coral Polyp, why then the check out Tucker’s site…
