I just blogged about heated benches and it occurred to me this concept would work great with reading nooks and window seats. You don’t have to heat reading nooks and window seats, it’s just one option among many. The photos above show a few possibilities.

i am looking for for some info on building earthbag benches. I’ve seen that they are supposedly somewhere on this naturalbuilding blog, but can’t find them. Can you point me in the right direction?
thanks
Sometimes our blog search engine doesn’t find all the blog posts. Not sure why. Go to Google and search earthbag benches and you’ll find all our articles, videos and images at the top of the list.
beautifull!!
Love the Spanish-style reading nook. It looks very inviting and comfortable. The idea that it can be heated is even better!!
Yeah, I thought that was very eye catching. And I love the big window and the wall color.
I really enjoy your blog. I just found it and it is very intriguing. We live in New Hampshire and I wonder if there are plans for homes in our cold climate?
Thanks. I have over 120 plans at Earthbag House Plans http://earthbagplans.wordpress.com/ and DreamGreenHomes.com http://www.dreamgreenhomes.com/materials/earth/earthbags.htm
There are lots of blog posts here on cold climate houses. Use the built-in search engine above.
