There are lots of uses for recycled bricks such as floors, patios, garden paths, sidewalks, planters, benches, fireplaces, driveways, walls behind wood stoves and so on. Not only are reclaimed bricks extremely beautiful and practical, they’re also one of the most green building products (recycled, all natural, non-toxic, durable, DIY friendly, locally available…). The photos above show brick flooring made with salvaged bricks recut into tiles to reduce shipping and construction costs, and labor. “Our brick floor tile products are available in the modular brick shape (3 5/8″ x 7 5/8″) in either 1/2″ or 15/16″ thicknesses. This allows for our brick floor tile to be used anywhere ceramic tile is considered as well as installations which will have vehicular traffic where 15/16″ materials set on slab provides an attractive and functional design opportunity.
This beautiful brick veneer has actually been cut from salvaged building bricks. We have salvaged these high quality building bricks from buildings in Chicago and sliced them into 1/2″ tile for your interior or exterior brick veneer projects.”
