There are abandoned farms everywhere in the rural area where we live. This is a tragedy as places that were loved so much just rot, but it is also an opportunity for anyone who wants to own a farm!

Plus, we’re 35 minutes to downtown Iowa City (birthplace of the Tiny Home movement) and 30 minutes to Grinnell, Iowa, home of Grinnell college. We all know the US economy is not the greatest right now. Many people have lost their jobs and can’t find new ones. Many people are thinking about moving elsewhere. One possibility is moving to a popular scenic tourist town.
