The Tipu Sultan Merkez School in Punjab, Pakistan has a new sustainable building that was designed by German architects Roswag Seiler and built by locals. Using locally sourced and low-impact materials, the shelter was fashioned from cob, bamboo and mud. Cob is widely used in Pakistan, and is a material made from clay, sand, water and straw. The concoction can easily be mixed by bulls, and once set, works as a natural insulator that keeps humidity at bay and interiors cool.

Although the concept is not new, we believe that this is as good as it gets. A stylish, sleek, aerodynamic caravan that is as easy to tow and is no higher than a normal off road caravan, but then, when in boat mode you have a safe, high performance liveable boat.

I saw this portable army field kitchen online and realized it would work great for many situations, especially off-gridders who do a lot of canning, baking and cooking. Not sure of the cost, but most Army surplus items are pretty cheap so it’s likely you could find a used one reasonably priced. There are different sizes and styles available that you can search for online.
