This video shows a fellow building what he calls a studio out of mostly natural materials. There is no discussion or narration accompanying the video, so you have to watch to see how he goes about the project. The walls are primarily wattle and daub, using vertical bamboo poles stuck in the ground with some wire mesh around them. The final plaster seems to be lime-stabilized mud with a final coat of lime wash. My main concern with what he has done is that the roof is rather flat and sealed with a simple layer of black plastic that won’t last very long exposed to the elements. Perhaps he has in mind to add further protection up there. I would be interested in other viewer’s comments.
