Earthbag Houses for Women in Nepal and a Workshop

Kateryna Zemskova from Good Earth Global wrote me, saying, “In Nepal we have an on-going Earthbag Building project: Houses for Widows. In Nomabhuda village, Kavre District we are building Earthbag homes for widows, single women and their children. All were displaced by the 2015 earthquake, and many now live in tin shacks. We work in partnership with Lily Thapa and her non-profit Women for Human Rights (www.whr.org.np), serving oppressed Nepali widows and single women. Attached are some photos of the 4 earthbag houses we built as part of this project.”

“Also, we are organizing a Complete Earthbag House Build Workshop starting on November 1. Here is the info about this workshop: http://goodearthglobal.org/earthbagworkshops
