
Between 2009 and 2011, Hubert and Julien built five earthbag structures on the tropical island of Koh Phangan, Southern Thailand. The structures include two darkroom meditation domes, a large 2-room fortress-like toolshed (roughly 1100 earthbags and over 50 metric tons of dirt were used) and a spacious, minimalist, and rather luxurious “cave” house that artfully combines granite, wood and earth.

Round Earthbag School in Nepal
Project took place in Topka village, Sindhupalchowk district between Jan 2016 and April 2016. With a group of volunteers model round earthbag school has been created. Similar school was then build in Burke village, Ramechap district.
Earthbag Construction, Staff Housing – Project Somos
Project Somos is an eco-sustainable village in the Central Highlands of Guatemala. This video shows the earthbag construction of the staff housing at the village. Earthbags were also used on other structures in the village.
