Earthbag technology builds safe, appealing, and cost-effective structures out of ordinary soil. Stronger, cheaper, and less harmful to the environment than conventional building techniques like brick and cement, Earthbag technology is generally considered the most promising of sustainable building techniques. But despite widespread support among environmental groups and eco-builders, this method is shunned by governments and remains virtually unknown to everyday building professionals and the public.

New Earthbag Primary School and Learning Center, Nepal

Good Earth Nepal is now Good Earth Global
Nepal recently became the first country on Earth to officially recommend and approve of Earthbag technology. Our Earthbag designs have been published in the federal government’s official Reconstruction Catalog and ordinary Nepali families can now build their own Earthbag homes, with government rebuilding aid. With these developments Nepal has emerged as a world leader in sustainable building for the masses.
Edge of Seven Earthbag Update

Our work with Earthbag building in Nepal now covers the expanse of nine years. We have completed four dormitory buildings for girls getting an education in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal for both their college and university education. We’ve also built 6 classrooms using the method and all buildings have been successful in a variety of ways.
Round Earthbag School in Nepal
Project took place in Topka village, Sindhupalchowk district between Jan 2016 and April 2016. With a group of volunteers model round earthbag school has been created. Similar school was then build in Burke village, Ramechap district.
Holy Himalaya Earthbag Projects
We have many social projects going on in North Dharding, Nepal including Earthbag Building. We invite your support or hands-on help on these projects (for whole or part of schools and community centre rebuilding and building). You or your group can come for any length of time and we will include Adventure options around this amazing area of natural beauty, plus add-on treks to the more famous routes.
