The school was built by NGO Lakshyam and Geeli Mitti. What makes it so special is that it was built using neither bricks, nor cement!
We are proud to announce the completion and opening of Belingtar Primary School in Dhading District, Nepal. Thanks to our team, volunteers and sponsors Kimberly and Becca for making it all happen and giving the children a safe and beautiful space to study.
Nepal recently became the first country on Earth to officially recommend and approve of Earthbag technology. Our Earthbag designs have been published in the federal government’s official Reconstruction Catalog and ordinary Nepali families can now build their own Earthbag homes, with government rebuilding aid. With these developments Nepal has emerged as a world leader in sustainable building for the masses.
Project took place in Topka village, Sindhupalchowk district between Jan 2016 and April 2016. With a group of volunteers model round earthbag school has been created. Similar school was then build in Burke village, Ramechap district.
“The earthbag school we’re building is a 1,065 sq. ft. facility that will meet the needs of a small community in Juticalpa, Honduras.
“Good Earth Nepal is proud to have completed the construction of Shree Seti Devi Pancha Kanya Primary School in Phulping, Sindhupalchok. The build was funded by the 108 Lives Project, a project of the Three Jewels Outreach Center Inc.
