Question: “I was wondering if there is a limit to the size of diameter an earthbag dome can have. I am wanting to have a dome with more than 800 sq ft. I would like it to be a dome because I do not want the hassle of constructing a roof, and I’m a simple person so I am only wanting to construct one dome instead of multiple ones. We’ve profiled lots of Pinterest sites because they have so many good photos. Here’s a Pinterest page on earthbags. Most photos are from our sites (naturally, since we have thousands of pages of content now). But I found some new photos as well such as the earthbag rootcellar at Ecovillage Ithaca. (Starting out with a small project like this is a great way to learn earthbag building.)

Update: No more inquiries please. Already five people have written. I just realized we failed to mention this was a volunteer position that takes about 5-10 minutes per day. It’s just a matter of copying and pasting some text from this blog to facebook. Maybe some thought it was a regular job.
Owen, I’ve been really slacking on the facebook page. Since it’s creation in 2011, I’ve enjoyed posting things for your page so that others on facebook could enjoy it as well. My career & personal life have taken several turns since & leaves me unable to continue to post every day. I’m just not on facebook that much anymore anyway.
